ENDANGERED PURE LOVE

What did u buy today for ur valentine- a bombastic greeting card, an extravagant ring or may be u might have planned of a flashy 'romantic' night out.....! I just think that will there be any love story really taking place in which the lover boy is breathlessely waiting for his sweetheart on a beach, with a packet of popcorn in his hand, where he will share some simple happenings that may make them cry, laugh sometimes angry and thus they paint their own small heavenly world with a brush daubing on the easel with hues of pure passion. But the fact is that the easel is full of self-pleasing colours. Even I am not an exception from this present worldly behaviour.
Today for us youngsters having an affair is rather a matter of dignity and a means to have some canoodles. Thanks to the brainy marketing techniques, undue importance has come for such days in our life all of a sudden. We are busy calling our friends to ask about their plans today. We feel that the world is going to laugh on us when we don't join the so called valentine's day celebrations.
Years ago, St. Valentine had sacrificed his life for those ROMEO-JULIETS who were forcefully seperated by the absolutist Claude as his army was getting short of soldiers. Today no-one even remembers that great sacrifice and are busy oozing out their interest of power, sex and money in the name of Valentine's Day. Just casually ask those partying lads about great St. Valentine, stars will start to flash everywhere!!! Such is the case when u analyze anything- nor me neither u is interested to find the cause of each and every stuff happening with us again thanks to the brainy brain washing techniques.
I am just trying to pacify myself by imagining that may be those ROMEO-JULIETS for whom St. Valentine had sacrificed will be existing in some another lovely world in this universe who have escaped from our selfich planet a long ago and may be there will be no need of any Valentine's Day for celebrating true love. Now ....... i am getting late for my Valentine Party.
