Gandhi Jayanti on a Sunday
Today, violence is a consumer product which is being used to earn trillions of profit. If one sells it in the form of video clippings then others sell it in the form of games and the chief ones sell it through weapons and each take their own share.
These guys have deftly blotted out the humanitarian feelings of love, affection, sympathy from the core of our hearts. We have become so ruthless that we feel nothing even after hearing about the episodes of bomb blasts and shoot outs everyday. We remain calm as a mill pond even after reading the useless decisions of signing new nuclear pacts taken by our so-called leaders of our country where thousands of babies are dying out of hunger. Here when the need of situation is a strong political movement for fighting against injustice superimposed on us we youngsters are busy in increasing our scores in various computer games.
At this verge of unpleasant time, we are ought to remember someone, who was not any prodigy but a simple human being, who taught us that solid principles is the only weapon we need to make bent our enemy's knees.By forgetting him, we can't unriddle that why all of us are living a cat and dog life in our own country. Without remembering him it is hard to find why justice is being killed everywhere. The fact we have to unitedly stand against such unjust conditions don't have any existence without cherishing the teachings of none other than our beloved BAPUJI.
This sunday it was 136th Gandhi Jayanti. We are bound to ask ourselves whether we were introspecting the above conditions or whether we were complaining that we lost a good public holiday as unfortunately Gandhi Jayanti was on a sunday.
